Hi,

We’re hoping you’ve had a chance to enjoy the beautiful summer days we’ve been experiencing these past few weeks. As August all but wraps up, we want to reach out to clarify the CRA tax payment deadline, as it has been extended further since our previous communication on the subject.

The payment deadline for 2019 taxes owing, June instalments and September instalments has been extended to September 30th.

Per this memo “The CRA will charge daily compound interest on any outstanding balance starting October 1, 2020, until you pay it in full.” You can find the full extension details here.

We are happy to announce that the winners of our recent water bottle draw have been notified. Thank you for your participation in our initiative to support of the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter.
