Dear Jeremy,
Well, this was certainly an eventful year. As we rung in a new decade almost twelve months ago, I’m reasonably confident that very few people could have predicted the pandemic and resulting effects. It is one of the few events in world history which affected everyone, many at the same time, and in the same ways.
First and foremost, I offer my sympathies to anyone who has lost a relative, friend or colleague as a result of Covid-19. Health is our most precious resource, and I believe we all have a greater appreciation for that fact after this year. Secondly, I empathize with all those whose livelihoods have been impacted – from front-line health care workers to those in the entertainment and hospitality industry, and many more in between. More broadly, I think all of us have been impacted mentally and emotionally, and these wounds will take time to heal.
That said, I am a firm believer in the strength and resilience of the human spirit. As a species, our tenacity, creativity and collaborative abilities have stood the test of time. It’s remarkable that, in a few short months, a large number of for-profit companies and government agencies have collaborated to produce an array of viable vaccines, the first of which are already helping thousands of people around the world. As hundreds of thousands more doses are produced and shipped every day, I believe we will continue to hear positive news as we move through 2021. In turn, life will return to something that resembles normal.
My family and this company have always believed in supporting our communities. In addition to our ongoing commitments to education, social justice and the arts, this year we have made special gifts to Brown Bagging for Kids and the Mustard Seed. These organizations (and many more) are on the front lines and helping so many who are hurting. Please check out the websites for more details on the great work being done by these groups!
As hard as it is for me to believe, this is now my 22nd year at CH Financial. The bedrock of this business is our great clients, many of you whom I have known for my entire career. Each of you is special to me and this firm, and I applaud you all for the people you are and the contributions you make to society every day. From raising excellent families, to volunteering at your places of worship, to contributing to local boards, building great businesses and many more, you are the fabric which makes our country fulfilled in every way. The team and I are humbled and honored to be part of your journey, and we’ll always be here, working in partnership with you.
Let’s toast to the lessons learned in 2020, and look forward to a great 2021 and beyond!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
Yours in service and friendship,

ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
Like you, we’re selective about the long-term relationships in which we engage.
We’re looking for aspirational clients who require the whole spectrum of financial services because managing the whole is how we’re able to deliver unbeatable value – it’s our “secret sauce”.
If this describes you, let’s set up a meeting and
get to know each other.
